Waipara Springs is a boutique vineyard and winery located in the warm, dry Waipara Valley (north of Christchurch).
Wines are produced on the premises from estate grown fruit and the results have been enjoyed both in New Zealand and internationally since opening in 1990.
Jill Moore manages the winebar and cellardoor sales where visitors enjoy wine tasting with an informative and friendly commentary on all the wines available along with the history of the company.
Our popular restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating offering "Dishes of the Day" plus regular favourites on the menu.
Local ingredients are used when possible including salmon, lamb, cheese, olive oil, asparagus and many other seasonal vegetables and fruit, not to mention the famous homemade bread. The aim is to produce simple fresh and clean flavours, making Waipara Springs an excellent lunch time venue.
Tea, good coffee, muffins, desserts, fruit juices, herbal teas and beers are also available.
